Bridlington Beach - South

Retirement is good !
Bridlington beach was a huge success with our 2 retired racing Greyhounds and children alike, for the vast sandy beach that is revealed at low tide. It appears to stretch for as far as the eye can see.
Dogs are allowed on the beach up to the areas clearly indicated and ours loved to run free on the sand. There is a convenient bin for their waste too so don't forget to pick up after your dogs.
There was plenty of room for a football kick-about without colliding with other people and lots of scope for sand castle building.
There was also lots to watch on the water too with sailing competitions taking place just off the shore.
Just up from the promenade (if you can avoid the dive bombing seagull protecting it's young! - only seasonal I'm sure) is the friendly Bowling Club, offering very reasonably priced refreshments, the opportunity to use the putting green and play bowls for a small fee and hiring of the appropriate footwear.
It was an excellent morning out enjoyed by one and all.
