I think you may well be surprised by how beautiful the scenery and beaches around the coast actually are! And we've got lots of nature, wildlife and deserted corners to explore...
We've even got a whole National Park (The North York Moors National Park) that includes some coastline...
The people are very friendly too - and while we may not always be able to offer you unrivalled sunshine, (we do have some!) there'll definitely be a friendly pub or tea-room, where you can pop-in and shelter out of the wind and rain, and enjoy some Yorkshire delicacies!
Loads of cultural and entertainment events, and lots of history, and historical sites...
