'Coast to Coast with Wainwright': Newly photographed by Derry Brabbs

I read this book while I was on holiday in the North York Moors. I looked into this book to explore the last few walks - crossing the North York Moors to end up at Robin Hoods Bay.

This book had interesting descriptions and was beautifully photographed, with many points of interest noted.

Lots of local info, history and local 'colour' - such as interesting information about Grosmont and the NYMR, and Falling Foss.

The maps in the book were quite sketchy - it's certainly not a wayfinder map - you would also need proper maps, but these were a useful indication.

Directions were clear, but not detailed. You would possibly need more detailed directions.

Uses original Wainwright's Walks, with some updated text.

A beautiful coffee table book - inspirational photos!

Ideal for fans of the Coast to Coast Walk.

A beautiful, well illustrated walk - but personally not for me!
