Whitby is one of my all time favourite places, with its unique, rambling streets, quaint cottages and picturesque harbour and beach - what more could you ask for your holidays, whether a short, weekend break, or a longer stay. We had a taste of the Gothic and a wonderful stay at the Bats and Broomsticks Gothic-themed bed and breakfast in Whitby - it's great fun, quirky, gorgeous and not just for Goths... ...in a great, convenient location, with parking too! (And dogs are allowed!)
