Every Now and Then - M Shaw and FM Sutcliffe

I have already added this book to my review of Gibby's Cafe in Filey, but thought I would add it here too, as I think it's such an interesting read.

I first saw the book in Gibby's Cafe, but am angling after my own copy for Xmas or birthday!

The book has the old photograph taken by Sutcliffe (famous Whitby photographer) against a modern photo recreation of the same scene.

It is so interesting to see how things have changed - or in some cases, not!

So, just to say I really enjoyed this book, and can definitely recommend it
