What you can buy, where you can eat. Why we like the town centre in Filey... Get the lowdown from the 'Unofficial Guide'....
The town centre in Filey is only quite little.
There's not much in the way of large, high street shops and chain stores - but I think that is all to the good!
Instead, the shops are independent and interesting little shops.
Don't miss Sterchi's Chocolate Shop - a gorgeous, old-fashioned style chocolate shop - very delicious, we couldn't help but go in and treat ourselves...
Our chocolates came in posh little bags - which did, of course, make them taste even better!
We particularly like Inghams fish and chip shop, for eating-in or take-away.
I love the distinctive Filey fisherman outside (right)...
But Ginger did seem somewhat perturbed by the giant fish!
