We had an impromptu visit to Flamborough North Landing - and found it a lovely little place - well worth a visit!
Park in the car park at North Landing (50p for an hour, £1 for 2 hours) and take the steps down to the lovely little beach...
This is a gorgeous little bay - on a sunny day you could be on a picturesque Greek island, with the beautiful blue and green seas, sparkling against white, chalky cliffs...
There is a small, sandy beach - backed by boat launch and steps back up to the cliff top.
When the tide is low, you can scramble over rocks to explore all the very exciting-looking caves, nooks and crannies - a smuggler's paradise!
A very pretty little bay, to sit back, relax and enjoy the picturesque views, or just to explore...
There are lovely cliff top walks in either direction from the car park - walk to Thornwick Bay or to Flamborough Head and Saltwick Bay, through the Flamborough Cliffs Nature Reserve.
There is also the nearby Viking Hotel (recommended by David)

This is only a little beach and bay, but it's very pretty, friendly and lovely - a real hidden gem, and well worth a visit, for an afternoon, or longer...
