This is only a small cafe, but it is neat, clean and pretty.
It is right opposite the coastguard station, between the 2 lighthouses.
They do the usual teas, coffees, some very delicious-looking cakes, sandwiches and an all-day breakfast.
We decided to go for the takeaway fish and chips - I always think you can't beat fish and chips at the seaside...
...dogs aren't allowed inside, which is why we had to take-out. There is a small amount of car parking just outside.
We made a god choice! The fish and chips were delicious!
We waited while they were made from fresh (it was actually only a very short wait) and we actually saw the lady mixing the batter from fresh!
We took the comfortingly hot packages, and hungrily unwrapped them in the carpark. We sat and ate them in the warmth of the car, right by the lighthouse, with a wonderful view of the headland.
They were wonderful, piping hot and with huge, chunky pieces of fish - fantastically warming and truly tasty!
I can really recommend them!
