Mappleton Sands

We stopped off here en-route from Withernsea to Hornsea...

This is a lovely little village, leading down to a beautiful beach, known as Mappleton Sands.

To enjoy the lovely, wide, sandy beach, go through the pretty village and park at the car park and picnic area off Cliff Lane. There are public toilets here.

It is just a short step from here, down the slipway to this lovely, quiet beach. On the day we went, there were just a few fishermen on the beach.

Take your tuck down for a relaxing picnic at the tranquil, sandy beach, or enjoy a walk along cliff paths, in either direction.

We really enjoyed our brief stop here, and definitely intend to visit for a longer stop in the future.
