My Dad

Spent all my childhood on Filey Brigg, either searching for soft back crabs or fishing with my dad.

I remember when the little green hut sat at the base of the cliffs right at the very end over looking the Brigg, the one time I was allowed pop and my dad had hot steaming tea!!

I could write for hours about the place and things that happened there, the most significant to me now though is my dads ashes are scattered from the cliff tops , on a howling wet afternoon 10 years ago he took off into the wind and over the sea, was a fantastic day and just what he would have wanted.

So next time you are walking the cliffs in Filey say "hello to Nick!"
