Robin Hood's Bay in the best snow for years!

by Jenny
(Leeds)

Christmas in Robin Hoods Bay

Christmas in Robin Hoods Bay

I went to RHB with some friends at Christmas (2009), in the snow and ice and it was beautiful!

Even driving there (from Leeds) was magical as en route (not quite sure where) near to RHB there were forresty areas that looked just like Narnia!

Here is the best pic from the trip.

Wow Jenny ... I love the pic - looks great!

It's a shame, but I didn't manage to get that way at all when it was really snowy and pretty - as I suspected, it looks fantastic!

Great photo - thanks for sharing :o)

Best wishes

Charlotte :o)

Thanks im glad you like the pic!

Its probably a fairly rare sight with all the snow, it was a bit tricky getting there though!

Especially in a little fiat panda :D

But still managed to do some fossil/driftwood/pebble hunting on the beach - 'free stuff for the home' i call it :D
