It is quite a lot of years since we stayed at the Bay Hotel. It was actually my and Ian's first weekend away together, so I do remember it quite fondly...
The Bay Hotel is right on the beach (practically!). Park in the car park at the top of the village, and carefully wend your way down the steep road through the village to the sea, and the Bay Hotel.
The Bay Hotel is a small, family-run hotel, so keeps that lovely, comfortable and friendly feel. The owners were very welcoming.
The room was clean, comfortable and very pleasant. There was an ensuite with a smart, black-tiled shower room.
We enjoyed an evening meal in the bar at the hotel. I can't remember now, exactly what we had, but I do remember it was certainly delicious. The hotel bar was lovely, quaint and comfortable, and looked down onto the beautiful bay below.
We also enjoyed a full breakfast in the bar in the morning.
