Scarborough Fudge Shop

Hi, on one of your pages (here... - opens in a new window) there is a photo of a fudge shop. Do you know what is it called?

I came to Scarborough for my anniversary this year and I brought my partner's grandma back some chocolate and mint fudge from this shop.

She used to visit it when she was young and she loved it. I wanted to try and get some for her for christmas but I do not know what the shop was called.

I hope someone can help me

Hi Jessica

I went to Scarborough at the weekend and looked up the fudge shop - it's address is 67 Eastborough, Scarborough, so it seems it is perhaps the one in the link above, although now known by a different name....

My updated photos from the weekend to identify it...

So it appears that this is Heavenly Chocolate - website here...

I also found the following contact details on a Yorkshire food producers website:

I also spotted the following shop on Sandside/Scarborough sea front- which seemed (to my untrained eye!) to be right opposite/behind the shop on Eastborough and seemed very much to be the same stock?

We did sample some of the stock again - very tasty, of course!!

A new fudge shop has opened further up at
11 Eastborough. It is called FUJ of Scarborough, it is run by the lady who up until recently made all the fudge for the other shops.

And they do online orders and post out too - so if you're away from Scarborough and fancy some lovely fudge, either for yourself, or as a gift, it's easy to indulge!

When I go to Scarborough I ALWAYS go to this fudge shop because it is absolutley gorgeous. So many flavours and all hand made (none of this factory made stuff you get everywhere else in Scarborough).

I'm even going as far as asking her to make me a fudge wedding cake.

Yes, that's right, a cake made solidly of fudge! mmmmmmmm

Hi,

Just wanted to comment on the message made by "anonymous" re. FUJ making fudge for the other shops.

I know for a fact (insider knowledge) that the owner of Heavenly Chocolate makes her own fudge, chocolates etc. and always has.

And it is amazing (from a fellow sweet toothian).

Can't comment on FUJ's fudge as have not tried it but may well be as good.

What I should have said is that the lady who now owns FUJ of Scarborough used to make fudge at (not for) the other before opening her own shop!!
