The Golden Haddock
We bought fish and chips from The Golden Haddock.
The take-away is at the northern end of the High Street and seems to be a popular little shop...
The staff were friendly and the shop was lovely and clean. We just made it in, in time, as the shop closed its lunchtime servings at 1.15.
The portions were generous and the chips were nice, light and crispy. The fish was nice and hot, with lovely light batter - very tasty and good and filling!
We would definitely go here again for fish and chips - a great takeaway!
