Mar 9, Weekend Away

We've just come back from a long weekend in the North York Moors - we stayed near Castleton, and had a lovely, busy time... ...we visited Danby, Hutton-le-Hole, Staithes, Goathland and Robin Hoods Bay, amongst others... ..happily the weather was kind to us, and although it was cold at night, the days were gloriously sunny. We ate outside for lunch in Robin Hoods Bay in the sunshine, but a few miles inland, on the tops of the moors there was still several inches of ice-encrusted snow... I'll be spending this week writing up all our reviews and experiences, so expect to see them appearing on site in the next few weeks... ...I'll leave you with a photo of me enjoying a walk in the moors.... nearly at the top of that hill!
